Legal
Terms of Use
Effective: 17 August 2026. These terms apply to use of the WHYSiTech Solutions website. Project-specific quotations, statements of work or written agreements may contain additional terms and will take priority where they specifically address a project.
1. About this website
WHYSiTech Solutions provides information about technology support, consulting, digital solutions and related services. Website content is provided for general information and may be updated from time to time.
2. Enquiries and consultations
Sending an enquiry or booking a free consultation does not by itself create a paid service contract. A project begins only after scope, price and any relevant terms have been agreed through a quotation, statement of work, invoice, written message or other mutually accepted arrangement.
3. Quotations and project scope
Quotations are based on the information available when they are prepared. Material changes to requirements, third-party costs, additional work or circumstances outside the agreed scope may require a revised quotation or timeline. We aim to communicate material changes before carrying out chargeable work outside the agreed scope.
4. Five-business-day workmanship guarantee
If an issue directly related to work completed by WHYSiTech becomes apparent within five business days after completion, please notify us promptly. Where we reasonably determine that the issue was caused by our workmanship or implementation within the agreed scope, we will correct that issue without an additional labour charge.
The guarantee does not normally cover issues caused by circumstances outside our completed work, including:
- new or unrelated faults that arise after completion;
- changes made by the client or another third party after our work is completed;
- misuse, accidental damage, malware or security incidents occurring after completion;
- internet, hosting, cloud, software or other third-party service outages or changes;
- pre-existing or underlying hardware defects not caused by our work; or
- requirements or outcomes that were not part of the agreed scope.
This workmanship guarantee is intended to provide practical after-service assurance. It does not limit any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
5. Third-party products and services
Some solutions may rely on third-party hardware, software, platforms, internet services or subscriptions. Their availability, pricing, warranties and performance are controlled by their respective providers. We are not responsible for failures caused solely by a third-party service, although we may assist with troubleshooting where that support is within the agreed scope.
6. Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, lawful access to systems or content needed for the work, timely approvals, and appropriate backups where relevant. Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, clients remain responsible for their own account credentials, licences, subscriptions and ongoing use of third-party services.
7. Website content and intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the WHYSiTech name, branding, website design and original website content are owned by or used with permission by WHYSiTech Solutions. You may view and share links to the website for lawful purposes, but you may not copy, reproduce or commercially reuse substantial website content without permission.
8. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, submit malicious code, abuse forms or booking features, or use the site in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
9. Information and advice
Articles, guides and website content are general technology information. They are not a substitute for an assessment of your particular systems, risks or requirements. Decisions with significant financial, legal, security or operational consequences should be based on appropriate professional advice and the facts of your situation.
10. Liability
We aim to provide services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by applicable law, WHYSiTech is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from use of this informational website or from events outside our reasonable control. Any project-specific responsibility will also be governed by the written terms agreed for that project. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Privacy
Our handling of personal information submitted through the website is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms when our website, services or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted here. Questions can be sent to hello@whysitech.com.
